Roni Amiel
CEO, FibronosticsRoni Amiel is currently the CEO at Fibronostics, a healthcare technology company dedicated to improving treatment screening, disease progression, and the prognosis of chronic metabolic disease states with non-invasive, algorithmic diagnostics.
Before Fibronostics, Roni served as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Notal Vision; a global telemedicine organization, with a disruptive technology integrated cloud platform that uses sophisticated AI algorithms to detect and provide diagnostic decision support, driving at-home testing and patient-activated treatment with their providers.
Roni has spent time as Co-Founder and CTO/CEO of Pinscriptive, an advance analytics decision support cloud platform for specialty diseases, CIO/CISO of the Blythedale Children’s Hospital – where he transformed patient care, and CIO/CISO for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the New York City Department of Health – where he spearheaded the development of a cloud based DNA analysis platform for the largest lab in the country.
Roni also worked as the Director of Information Systems at Columbia University’s Cardiovascular Research Foundation, delivering the first cloud radiology platform on AWS for 15k sites worldwide, and a Senior Director of Information Systems at PTC Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of orally administered proprietary small-molecule drugs that target post-transcriptional control processes.
Roni was the Chairman of the Outcomes & Research Committee at International Pediatric Rehabilitation Collaborative (IPRC) and a regular writer\contributor to many industry magazines on healthcare IT topics.
Education
He holds an MS in Biomedical Informatics. Roni has four patents in treatment decision, decision support, and forecasting treatment decision in healthcare systems.
