Thought Leadership and Education in a Growing Industry

Strategy & Innovation | Regulatory & Scientific Affairs

THE OPPORTUNITY

Knowing that the requirements for a medical professional to adopt and distribute a product are much stricter than traditional commerce, the client required a partner with deep expertise in understanding the needs and developing an actionable plan to win with medical professionals.

  • Which medical professional specialties represented the best partners?

  • What health benefits could, and should we address given the complex regulatory environment and the medical professional needs?

  • How do we educate in a way that will drive differentiation, adoption and behavior change?

APPROACH

SPRIM leveraged industry expertise, secondary research and primary qualitative interviews with subject matter experts (SME’s), key opinion leaders (KOLs) and health care professionals (HCPs) to inform the initial brand framework, strategy, and guide for presentation. SPRIM then co-hosted a strategy workshop with key SMEs to refine and validate certain components of the plan, with a heavy emphasis on requirements for impactful education, formulation, and science.

RESULTS

SPRIM developed the framework of an informed go-to-market strategy and communication plan that positioned the client for successful commercialization. The strategy was met with approval from internal stakeholders and is in the process of being implemented with support from internal and external partners.
