HealthFACTR: From Reactive to Predictive, a Digital Model to Determine Risk

INTRODUCTION

Recognizing a need for early detection tools, SPRIM developed an algorithm-based, broad-spectrum health assessment targeting several of the most critical risks to a person’s health and longevity. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), Stroke, Diabetes, Liver disease and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) are measured, as well as individual risks assessed, and actions recommended to reduce disease progression. This digital tool, named HealthFACTR, launched in 2017 and is available to health centers globally.

The test

Test is very simple and quick to administer, consisting of a personal health questionnaire, assessment/consultation with a clinician, and a blood draw.
Results provide personalized 10-year risk scores as well as recommendations for risk mitigation. An option exists to select planned follow up visits to monitor progress.
Successful trial completed in a single health fitness location, with plans underway for a much wider market launch.

The Results

HealthFACTR has tested more than 500 fitness center members to date with a very high satisfaction rate and willingness to refer the program.
